We specialise in sea-kayaking. We are an official provider for Canoeing Ireland, the National Governing Body (NGB) fpr paddlesports in Ireland.
We are insured and accredited and our instructors are formally trained, qualified and certified.
Copper Coast Kayak Adventures is owned and run by Craig Keyworth.
Craig is a passionate waterman with a lifetime of ocean watersports experience in windsurfing, kitesurfing, bodyboarding, surfing, open-water swimming, dinghy sailing, ocean cruiser sailing, surf kayaking, SUP, and of course, sea-kayaking. Craig is a sea-kayaking instructor, coach and guide who views sea kayaking more than just a hobby or a sport, but as a holistic lifestyle.
Craig serves on the Canoeing Ireland Training and Development Unit Committee, and is honoured and delighted to be part of a small team of fellow instructors and professionals who are currently reviewing the Canoeing Ireland sea kayaking qualifications scheme. The team have been tasked by Canoeing Ireland to propose improvements to the sea kayaking qualifications and the scheme. Craig's personal motivations in this review are for Irish sea kayaking standards to be amongst the best in the world, and for the scheme to equally serve Irish sea kayakers, clubs, instructors and commercial providers.
